[Eclug] Eterm not encoding single quote correctly in perldoc or man pages

Hi all,

Can't seem to find an answer on this:
I use Eterm for my terminal on Ubuntu 6.06, and when I use perldoc or 
man the resulting pages do not properly encode the '’' (notice its not a 
single quote character, but similiar)character- it shows a lower case 
"a" with an accent above it followed by 2 box shaped characters. Its 
starting to drive me nuts. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to 
correct this?
