    While I'm at it...

Following last month's informative meeting and the eye-candy
presentation by Devin, I managed to get this all installed on my laptop
(AMD64 X2 1GB RAM Nvidia video kubuntu 6.06.1) and IT WORKED! Hurray!
I loved playing with the very configurable options.

Now, my problem: Once I shut this monster down, the next time I booted
I don't have the eye candy! I can manually start the beryl-manager
which allows access to the config settings and if I try to manually
start other items referenced in the instructions I'm informed that they
    are already running.

Therefore, hopefully someone else from this group may have already
successfully gotten this combo installed. Any ideas on what I should
look for and/or where I should check for or add the startup script(s)
    for this stuff?

Based on my limited experience with this I'd definitely recommend that
this become a standard (but optional) component of the Linux desktop
    distros.

    TIA

    Bob
