    Also you can do:
    *dpkg*-*reconfigure* xserver-*xorg*
    
    If anything goes wrong it will create a backup of your old xorg config 
    file in /etc/X11
    
    This runs a nice little ncurses setup app that helps you make an 
    xorg.conf file. You can use -reconfigure on many different packages. 
    It's very handy.
