    Hi,

I need some quick refresher on what the CLI tool is for editing
the X config file on an Ubuntu box. I have it installed here and it
insists to run the desktop at 1920x1440 at 86 which just flickers too much
when looking at it through a spy glass. I tried the CLI config tools that
I remember I used, but either I have the names wrong of they are not in
    the system. Any advice?

            David K.

PS: This is one of those cases where the CLI comes in handy....or a
    working desktop config tool.
