[Eclug] Another VMware ESX install question?

For those that responded to my frantic question yesterday regarding the 
"bare metal" install - thank you.  I have ESX 3.0 now installed - BUT!!!

The docs, presumably for the "management console" require the use of a 
database server.  What db server are most people using (those that are 
NOT windoze centric shops)?

The VMware docs reference avoiding M$ access and seem to recommend 
Oracle (ouch).  But we are heavily standardized on Mysql.  Has ANYONE 
substituted an OPEN db server for use with the VMware management 
console?  If so, please advise which?  If not, what are you using for 
that purpose?

Sorry for all the questions about VMware on this list - but it IS Linux 
based and there ARE other users and interested parties.
