• In-depth knowledge of Linux operating system (Red Hat preferred). 
• In-depth knowledge of shell programming and Perl scripting. 
• Knowledge of Intel based server hardware. 
• Knowledge of NFS. 
• Knowledge of Veritas Netbackup or similar application. 
• Effectively communicate with employees, customers, vendors and guests. 
• Prioritize and handle multiple tasks. 
• Work with minimal supervision. 
• Work well with others in a team environment.
