I think COM1: should already be /dev/ttys0. I am sure you can do this with mkdev, but rather than google how, I'm sending you a tarball of /dev/tty* from my system (Dapper 6.06). Try uncompressing it somewhere (like /tmp) and see if you can copy the right device to /dev/ and get it working. I think it will work. If not, I recall using mkdev or mknod one time before, but I forget what I did. I'm happy to help figure it out if nobody else knows how to use it. Bob Mariotti wrote: > Anyone? Dave?
