    Gentlemen;

    Scenario: Web server (Apache2/PHP) runs app that wishes to print to a
    printer physically attached to a different desktop on the same network.

    Q1) What needs to be installed on the web server to allow this to
    happen (I'm assuming its cups itself as it contains both "lp" and "lpr")?

    Q2) Must the remote printer be defined as a queue on the web server that
    wishes to send output to it (i.e.: if web server is "WS" and remote
    desktop is "WS1" with a printer "P1" connected to it, must printer "P1"
    be "defined" with a queue on "WS")?

    While I use cups for all my Linux printing needs, I am having difficulty
    making this somewhat simple application work.

    And YES, I have perused the cups docs and faqs and what little forums
    there are as well as linuxprinting.org.

    Thanks for any answers/suggestions.

    Bob
