Why am I saying this a week early? Planning!
The Topic

Since nobody has volunteered or offered to speak at the next
meeting, I'll stick my foot out and offer my own suggestion for
a talk that I'm working on: "Running Linux from a USB
Key/Pendrive"
I'm going to do a demo of 3 separate distributions for USB keys,
show how to set them up, install the distro on them, and how to
run and configure and customize them.
So, bring your laptops, bring your USB keys and bring your
friends and coworkers. Let's make this a fun event this month.
The Marketing

I mentioned last month that I wanted to get some flyers out
there in the various shopping centers, telephone poles (where
legal handbilling is allowed please ;) and other corkboard
locations. Well, I'm putting together a 1-page flyer for ECLUG,
specific for this event...
If anyone is interested in making copies of this and
tacking/taping it up in their local shopping center, community
center or place of interest, let me know and I'll send you the
document so you can print or copy your own and pin them up.
The Dinner
--------------------------------------------------------------------
We usually decide on this at the last minute, so I figure we can
do a little advance planning for the dinner (yes, I actually
said "planning" ;).
Any suggestions for the pre-LUG dinner this month? Something
new? Interesting? Good food? Throw your suggestions out there!
Any other suggestions or comments? Throw 'em out there. We don't bite.
