One more item I keep forgetting to post. At the recent Cogan computer fair at the Mystic Marriott in Groton, the Rhode Island LUG had a rep who was handing out CDs and doing live installs. He was set up at a table in the hall outside the main show. (I have his card and exact URL/email at home - I'll post tonight.) He sounded interested in possible joint effort at other Cogan shows. -----Original Message----- From: eclug-bounces at lists.eclug.net [mailto:eclug-bounces at lists.eclug.net] On Behalf Of Bob Mariotti Sent: Tuesday, August 01, 2006 8:49 PM To: Eastern Connecticut Linux Users' Group Subject: Re: [Eclug] Tomorrow's meeting Dave; I think I speak for just about everyone else when I say we would be very happy to have you back and involved in the group again. Your level of knowledge of our subjects seems more diverse than most of us even if we've had many years of experience. Since we moved the venue to NFA there have been a regular number of students attending and they are quite knowledgeable in most of the aspects we discuss. I also would be most interested in hearing of your ideas to bring in more ^active members. I hope we see you soon. Bob David A.
